This list of gifts for photographers and content creators is sure to help take some of that holiday shopping stress away.

Ultimate Gifts for Photographers and Content Creators Guide

* A few of the below recommendations include affiliate links

1. An Old Film Camera - film is making a comeback, and I don’t know a content creator out there that wouldn’t be happy to start playing around with one. a quick search on eBay can bring up all types of old film cameras. Best part? You can get started with something for less than a couple rolls of film!

  • Speaking of film, don’t forget it! Kodak Portra 400 is one of the best film stocks and works great for both portraits and landscape/cityscape photography. Because it is ISO 400, it can also be used both indoor and outdoor. That said, there are so many different types of film, I recommend picking up a couple different kinds!

7. DJI Pocket 2 - I had the pleasure of testing this little device out with my friend Kyle Huber (check out his incredible work here) and I was thoroughly impressed. Don’t let it’s size fool you, this little guy is full featured and would make a great addition to any content creator’s kit!

8. PolarPro Quartzline Camera Filter - for the photographer or content creator that wants to step up their game, filters are a great way to do that. There are countless benefits/use cases for why someone would want to use a filter (you can see my blog post about that here), but a few benefits include better dynamic range, being able to slow down the shutter during the day, and cutting glare/reflections off of water and windows. Pro Tip: when buying filters, it is better to get one to fit your largest lens, and then get step up rings for any smaller lenses you might have.
